Come to Our Provider Gathering
For many people with endometriosis, seeing a new provider can be filled with dread. Years of dismissal, minimization, and medical gaslighting can leave patients bracing to not be believed. When a provider simply listens and believes them, it can feel like they finally have the care they have been searching for.
But being believed should be the beginning of good care. People with endometriosis deserve providers who understand the complexity of the disease, recognize co-occurring conditions, know the limits of their own scope, and understand when additional or specialized care may be needed.
-
Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 9 female bodied people of reproductive age worldwide, yet diagnosis alone takes an average of 7-10 years. People with endometriosis often need care across multiple disciplines. Building a network of informed, connected providers can help patients navigate that complexity, get appropriate referrals, and build a care team that understands endometriosis. Ayla Rising is working to make that care more connected.
